1. COUPON TAXI
1.1. Cooperative first activity began on 12 September 2005 at the Putrajaya Sentral.
1.2. License was issued by the LPKP,
1.3. Ticket is purchased by passenger before boarding the taxi,
1.4. This activity provides benefits to passengers, drivers, LPKP and Cooperative
1.5. Cooperative earns 10% of sales of the coupon.
1.6. 3 coupon counters operated by the Cooperative are at Putrajaya Sentral, the
Immigration Department Putrajaya and Serdang KTM station, and
1.7. For the year 2008, the sales of taxi coupons was about RM2,225,468.30 which
gave a return of RM222,546.83 to the Cooperative.
2. TAXI RADIO SERVICE
1. Operational since 2005 and began using radio communication systems since June
2007,
2. To date, there were 100 participants among the members of the cooperative,
3. A service charge and rental of RM5.00 per day is levelled by the Cooperative on
each participant,
4. This activity has succeeded in creating an alternative income to participants other
than just queuing for passengers at Putrajaya Sentral,
5. Consumer response to these services has increased in parallel to the development
of Putrajaya and Cyberjaya area,
6. Presently, the Cooperative is the pioneer and the leader in providing the PCRT
services in Putrajaya and Cyberjaya area, and
7. This activities have been awarded with a grant of RM57, 000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia
Fifty Thousand) from the SKM in 2008 for the purchase of additional radio sets.
